GT-Power 19.01 Beta 2 Released
Written by Tom Watt
Monday, 02 March 2009 22:01
I have just posted 19.01 Beta 2 in the Beta forum. Everyone who requested access now has access to it. This version is pretty much the same as Beta 1, but I went back to the original source and re-did everything with Borland C++ 3.1, which was the compiler last used for GT. It now seems much more stable. RIP functionality remains for now.

Coolmax has been hard at work on improving the Web side of ELE. This just came through the ELEWeb mailing list (eleweb@thebbs.org)

"GameSrv v8.06.03 was just released today. A little more testing went into this release than the last, but not much more, so PLEASE make sure you backup your GameSrv directory before upgrading. This release adds a few new options, but the biggest changes are some show-stopping "Run as NT Service" bugfixes, so please continue to test that mode of operation to help find more!"

Author's Note: He did tell me this time. :)

Although the author of GameSrv hangs out where I do. He did not mention this to me. :) so I am just now posting it. THANKS REE...
* GameSrv v8.05.18 was just released today. As usual, not a whole lot of testing went into it before releasing it, so PLEASE make sure you backup your GameSrv directory before upgrading. Of special need of testing is the "Run as NT Servive" option, so if you choose to try that option, please let me know your expeciences, whether they be good or bad.

This was found on the R&M Software Website for GameSrv: http://www.gamesrv.ca/
"Somebody just brought to my attention the fact that I broke the promise I made awhile ago. The promise was that I would try to work on GameSrv on a weekly basis, and if I failed to work on it for a 30 day period, I would release the source.
Well, I didn't technically break the promise, as I have been working on GameSrv here and there, but I definitely broke the spirit of the promise, which was to get more work done in a shorter period of time, and make quicker releases.

Version 0.92.0 stable is released. Some highlights:
* UTF-8 encoding support.
* Added support for Ubuntu.
* Added support for the ARM processor.
